About IWPA
IWPA established in 1996, is a 16OO members body of investors, generators and consumers of Wind Energy who have installed more than 12GW in India. It has offices in seven wind rich states.
Mission and Objectives
To promote and spread the awareness about the benefits of wind energy and the crucial role it can play in ensuring a pollution free sustainable energy for the country’s economic and social development.
Activities of IWPA
• To promote the common interests of members connected with the wind sector.
• Actively participate with government in evolving laws, rules and regulations for promotion and ease in working.
• To closely liaise with State, Central Government and other agencies on matters affecting the wind energy sector and the interest of its members.
