ABOUT AIPMA
- The All India Plastics Manufacturers' Association established in 1945 is oldest and largest Apex Body to promote development and growth of Indian Plastics Industry. Presently, it has nearly 1800 active direct members and 22000 members through Affiliated Associations from all over India and various segments of plastic industry. 90% of Membership of AIPMA is from SME or MSME Sector. Membership includes all categories of plastics industry from 175 cities nationwide. 56 Regional Plastic Associations are affiliated to AIPMA.

AIPMA takes parts in activities like promoting plastics in compliance with National & International standards and Certifications, setting up Export Cell Provide information and assistance to all members, Protecting Plastic Industry against any national or international challenges, Remaining alert on various environmental issues and anti-Plastics campaigns. It organizes Training programs for Plastics Industry and many more.
AIPMA promotes Plastic Parks at Dahej in
Gujarat, Tamot & Shivpuri in Madhya
Pradesh, Auraiya in U.P., Udwaria in
Rajasthan, Bengaluru in Karnataka, Tinsukia District in Assam and Siju Village in Odisha in India. Job Fairs are held regularly jointly with Technical Institutes to address employment issues in Plastics Industry. Regular Seminars and Conferences are held with meaningful topics related to the industry.
AIPMA has representations in Trade Bodies / Committees of Government of India for promotion of Plastics and Petrochemical industries and is also alert on anti-plastic campaign. Make representation to various Ministries regarding Statutory and Fiscal Policies for Plastics Industry. AIPMA is one of the founder promoters of Plastindia Foundation with an objective to jointly promote interests of Indian Plastics Industry globally.
AIPMA partnered Plast Pack Africa Exhibition in Kenya in 2012. Business delegations to Chinaplas, K, Koplas, Taipei Plas, NPE, etc. are organised regularly. 11th Edition of PLASTIVISION INDIA 2020 is scheduled from 16th to 20th January, 2020 at NSE Grounds, Mumbai. 1st PLASTIWORLD 2019, from 27th February - 2nd March, 2019 ITPO Delhi is announced. AIPMA Management Technology and Entrepreneurship Centre (AMTEC) is in pipeline.
Apart from the above, the Road Map for further expansion of activities of AIPMA is to set up Skill Development Centres, e-Learning, Cad Cam Design Centres from its dedicated new building. Other features are Incubation Centre, promoting SMEs and providing B2B platform for members.
