About IEEMA

IEEMA  is the apex association of manufacturers of electrical industrial electronics and allied equipment in India. Founded in,1948, IEEMA is the first ISO certified industry association encompassing the complete value chain in power generation, transmission and distribution equipment.

IEEMA  members contribute to more than 95% of the power equipment installed in India and represent a turnover of over USD 42 billion. IEEMA has a pan India presence with its corporate office at New Delhi, registered office at Mumbai, regional offices at Kolkata and Bangalore and eight state offices.

IEEMA as a voice of Indian electrical industry pIays a cruciaI poIicy advocacy role with government and its agencies. IEEMA conducts technical activities under various divisions, where members discuss issues concerning the industry and its growth opportunities. It works closely with standardisation bodies, R&D organisations, testing institutes, other apex industry bodies autonomus institutions, trade bodies and sectoral & regional associations. IEEMA has technical MoU's with leading international associations and institutions, including ANIE, JEMA, TEEMA, KOEMA, CEEIA, TEEAM, FAEMA,  AMEC-AMELEC, IEIS, IEEE, ZVEI and SAEEC among other.

IEEMA evolves and operates equitable and uniform PVC  Clause and publishes IEEMA Journal -  the Ieading eIectrical & eIectronics monthIy journaI   in  the   country. IEEMA hoIds product specific conferences, seminars,  workshops, training programmes and Iarge exhibitions like ELECRAMA, world’s largest event for electrical equipment industry, INTELECT, an integrated tech platform for future of electricity, DistribuELEC, the only power distribution exhibition in India and E3 — Energize Empower East.
