ABOUT HAI
Founded in 1996, Hotel Association of India (HAI) evolved as an integrated hospit ality industry platform keeping pace with the buoyancy ushered in post Indian economy’s liberalization. HAI’s members include large hotel groups, boutique, heritage and small hotels, representing the entire spectrum of the industry. Focusing on Industry centric initiatives, HAI also promotes regional cooperation, research/ education in hospitality. HAI pioneered in the establishment of SAARC Hotels Association. HAI published the first ever “Guidelines for sec urity mea sures in hoteIs”,
papers on “Tariff Systems in Hotels”, Goods & Services Tax. Hoteliers’ Conclave, HAI’s signature event, organized every three years enables interactions among industry professionals from India and overseas and policy makers. HAI partnered with World Trade Organisation, "Ecole Hotelier de Lausanne” and “Hong Kong School of Hotel and Tourism Nlanagement" to bring quality education to India. Celebration of World Environment Day, World Hand Hygiene Day, Adoption of Monuments are HAI’s ‘Social Inclusion’ initiatives.
